Laura Roberts is the Michael Corleone of sex writing: every time she tries to get out of the biz, the “family” drags her back in. This time, she’s taking the cannoli and leaving the gun, writing her own fictional take on life in the sex trade with her first novel, Naked Montreal.
As the author of the quirky “V for Vixen” sex column for one of Montreal’s alternative newspapers, Roberts witnessed a variety of sexcapades during her time on the beat. Armed with a degree in Creative Writing from Concordia University, she seamlessly blends fact and fiction to create work that has been described as both sassy and insightful. Naked Montreal brings a new view of this underground city to the surface.
Laura currently helms the literary magazine, Black Heart, works as a freelance writer and editor, and blogs about all things literary at her portfolio site, Buttontapper.com. She can also be found tweeting @originaloflaura and can be emailed via the contact page.
